Its really not a surprice about Razer trying to compete with the other gaming stores. The Razer brand is expanded everywhere. From hardware to software. From Mice & Keyboards to virtual goodies in specific games. But lets take a deep look into the new store.
The thousands of PC games available from the Razer Game Store will be delivered as Steam or Uplay product keys, so you’ll be able to easily add the titles to your current library on either service. Where things get interesting are the rewards. Every purchase will earn you zSilver, Razer’s digital currency that can be redeemed for discounts and devices on the Razer store. If you choose to buy the games with zGold, which you can purchase with real money, then Razer says you’ll earn more zSilver per purchase.
On top of the basic zSilver purchase rewards, Razer also says it will host exclusive deals and promotions. A rotating selection of four games will be discounted each week. For the first week, those discounts include Far Cry 5, Assassin’s Creed: Origins, Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. In addition to discounts of up to 50 percent, Razer is throwing in a Game Store voucher for $15, a $10 voucher for Razer peripherals, and double zSilver rewards.
Razer is also celebrating the launch with discounts of up to 75 percent on Ubisoft games
If you’re a Razer fan and saving up for some new peripherals, then the Razer Game Store is worth checking out. You can check out all of the launch promotions and sales at the Razer Game Store now.
